Job Summary:
The Operations Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operational activities to ensure efficient workflow, timely execution of tasks, and high-quality service delivery. This role requires strong leadership skills, experience in freight forwarding operations, and the ability to manage people, resolve conflicts, and maintain accurate reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
- Oversee inbound and outbound shipments and ensure compliance with freight forwarding procedures.
- Lead, guide, and motivate the operations team while fostering a productive work environment.
- Handle staff concerns, mediate conflicts, and implement effective resolutions.
- Prepare and submit operational reports such as KPI performance, manpower reports, daily/weekly updates, and other required documentation.
- Monitor team performance and ensure operational targets and service-level standards are met.
- Coordinate with internal departments, clients, and partners to address operational issues and maintain excellent service delivery.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.
- Utilize technology tools for monitoring, reporting, and communication (must be tech-savvy).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
- At least 2–3 years of experience in operations; with exposure in freight forwarding is required.
- With at least 1 year of experience in people management or team supervision.
- Strong conflict-handling and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledgeable in KPI reporting, manpower reporting, and documentation.
- Tech-savvy; proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace, and basic operations systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Willing to work in a fast-paced and shifting environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php26,000.00 – Php30,000.00 per month
